About Me

Photography has been a hobby of mine since I first held a camera as a kid. Over the years, my appreciation and wonder for photographs has only grown deeper. I am continually humbled by the difficulties encountered in capturing what it is you see with your eye. And furthermore, time and again I am inspired by the lessons learned, and the sides of life experienced, when you discipline yourself to slow down and breathe in what's around you.

I grew up in Faribault, MN, but currently live in Minneapolis. I have two amazing boys (Kyertin who is 4, and Eliot who is 3) and an amazing partner (Kellie) -- each of whom inspire and encourage me in their own ways to never stop making art.
